Waiʻanapanapa means fresh water in the Hawaiian language referring to the streams and sparkling pools of the place, gives the name to this park located on the island of Maui in Hawaii. The interesting 122-acre Waiʻanapanapa of stunning views is a perfect spot to pack a picnic lunch and spend some time enjoying the views to the black sand till sunset.

The park also offers camping facilities, usually quiet and serene only hearing the crashing waves. Bring your walking shoes, it is a unique experience to explore caves and walking alongside the cliff edge trail along waterfront. Camping requires a permit, also be prepared with some mosquito sprays if you are planning to stay the night. The waves are magnificent crashing against the jagged black rock formations and spuming skyward.
