D’En Vau Beach is one of those hidden beaches in the famous French inlets that inspire people to take a hike roughly 45 minute uphill, about 10km that will literally take your breath away, enjoying the views of the Mediterranean & the national park coastline. Followed by further 30 mins face down into the beach, photos from the top of the hill speak for itself and will make great memories like a trophy in honour for those willing to make the effort of the hiking.

Don’t sweat! Hiking is not the only way you can get there, it can be as easy as jumping on a kayak tour from Port Miou that takes 30 mins to reach or simple as relaxing in a tour boat from Cassis to several of the beautiful Calanques in the turquoise blue waters.

The beach is like most of the Calanques coast is pebbly with grainy sand but carved out by erosion and massive melting glaciers dotted by trees There are no toilet facilities or stores in this natural environment so pack a lunch & bring plenty of water for the hike back.
