Negril popular known as “Seven Mile Beach” is located on the south side of the Jamaica island in the Caribbean Sea, which is about an hour drive on the coastal highway from Sir Donald Sangster International Airport, in Montego Bay.

This beach has clean white sand and sparkling clear water covered by resorts that offers chairs and beach umbrellas, with lots of space for tanning, walking and various water sports. Most bars from the resorts are open to the public if you want to try local cuisine or listen to local bands.

Although climate change have eroded the beach, it is still a lovely and relaxing place to escape to. Take a walk along the seven miles of white sands of the beach and you can find starfish and other sea creatures, locals will offer horse riding if you feel too relaxed to walk. Seven Miles is a west facing beach so you have brilliant light behind you in the morning and gorgeous sunsets in the afternoon that makes it perfect for some stunning photos. The water is warm, clear and fairly shallow with gentle waves that provides perfect condition for water sports, like paddle boarding and water-skiing. In the afternoon the wind picks up so you can also enjoy windsurfing and sailing.
