Poipu Beach, located in Kaua’i , Hawaii was named by the travelers one of the best destinations in the US at TripAdvisor. Po’ipu means crashing waves in Hawaiian, it is the most popular beach on the South Shore but besides the name, this beach is popular for the calm waters that attracts many families every weekend.
The combination of this beautiful park and beach, makes a perfect setup for a picnic with family where you can use tables and restrooms available. Also lifeguard on duty 7 days a week what makes this beach really safe to spend the day swimming, snorkeling ,boogie-boarding and surfing in the crystal clear water.
Stay for a while and watch the sunset! Wild animals like seals and turtles are often visitors of this beach after dark. But please don’t put your cell phone lights on them! They don’t like it and we don’t want them to stop coming to the beach.
If you like to relax and have a quiet time in the golden sand, it’s best very early or even late afternoon to avoiding from 1 to 3 PM pic time, when it’s busiest with children who loves this place!
